Principal photography on the pilot episode of the proposed HBO series of George R.R. Martin's A Game of Thrones has wrapped, Sci Fi Wire reports.

Three weeks of shooting took place across three countries with a cast of, er, over a hundred.

Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Nikolai Coster-Waldau, Sean Bean and Mark Addy are among the cast members.

Once the pilot is delivered, HBO is expected to make its decision on whether or not to proceed with the series around March.
