Chic favourites

By NOORSILA ABD MAJID

Watch out J Lo, Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry, there is a new breed of stylish Hollywood starlets that are going to give you a good run for your fashion sense!

Headlined by Rihanna, Katherine Heigl, Vanessa Hudgens, Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria Parker, these fashionistas in training – who are all endorsed by Galaxie magazine – are already firm favourites among designer labels like Chanel, Escada, Armani and Louis Vuitton. Read more about what is inside their ever-expanding closet in Malaysia’s favourite entertainment magazine.

Look who’s caught the Galaxie fever now: Harrison Ford, aka the legendary Indiana Jones, takes some time off his hectic schedule to read Galaxie. Posing with him is the magazine’s Hollywood rep, Philip Berk.

And who says fashion is a girl thing? Guys, learn from metrosexual men like Justin Timberlake, David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Ashton Kutcher and Zac Efron on how to look dashingly good – even when you are sweating out in the football pitch.

As Galaxie celebrates style in its latest issue, the magazine has nominated Hong Kong’s Simon Yam and Bollywood’s Katrina Kaif as the style icon in their respective territories.

As for The Matrix, its status as the most stylish movie Hollywood has ever made in recent memories is undisputable.

For you gamers out there, you can try out the all new, all cool fashion designer game under the magazine’s “Cyberspace” banner.

In the sleaze department, Galaxie has the latest goss on Victoria Beckham. Psst... we hear that she is working up her appetite to get pregnant again. (She and Becks say they are desperately trying for a baby girl). Is Paris Hilton really a genius? Well, according to Hayden Panettiere who idol worships Paris, she sure is.

Galaxie is a fortnightly entertainment magazine published by Star Publications (M) Bhd.

The magazine also has a blog at www.galaxieblog.com.my, which provides pop culture reports and views on the latest happenings in the entertainment world.
