Word from TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, a producer on the planned Heavy Metal animated anthology, is that James Cameron amd David Fincher will be executive producers and also direct one segment each.

According to Film School Dropouts, Eastman said other directors like Gore Verbinski and Zack Snyder will also be helming segments for the movie.

He also said three other "jaw-dropping" directors have been approached but have yet to sign up for the project.

Heavy Metal is based on the long-running adult sci-fi and fantasy magazine. There was a previous animated anthology in 1981.
